My first ever non-travel related blog entry...and on my new laptop to boot! Then again I named this blog "Pandora's Journey Through Life" to symbolize all my journeys, not necessarily my travels, but I digress!
So this blog entry is in response to Lis' FB post (http://www.purseblog.com/louis-vuitton/reasons-to-buy-neverfull.html) about the LV Neverfull being "reversible." As you can see, I took on the challenge!
- Turning a Monogram Canvas Neverfull inside out is NOT an easy task!! My Neverfull is about 5 years old...maybe more? So flipping that sucker inside out was not easy nor was it fun! I apologized to my Neverfull the whole time I was putting it through the 3 minutes experimental torture it experienced!
- That little hook and latch system in the center top of the bag used to keep the bag closed looks really dumb when you latch it together! They flip up and look awkward.
- Those two strappy thingys that you use to cinch the sides in become useless and has the potential to get tangled and tangle things up inside your purse.
- If you're like me keep things inside that inside pocket (which now becomes an outside pocket), that now becomes accessible to everybody and their mother! Again, if you're like me, I keep some "womanly necessities" in that pocket that I do not want to show off to anybody!
- I actually hook my keys, wristlets, purse hook, etc onto that D-link. It now becomes useless if the bag is turned inside out.
- You have to clean out all the lint that has accumulated in the seam at the bottom of your purse. Also not fun!
- I'd imagine constantly flipping that purse inside out and back again would make the treated canvas crack. Why would anybody abuse their purse like that?!?!
- Finally, I work very hard at trying to keep the outside of my bag in as good condition as possible. I also try to take good care of the inside my purse as well. Accidents may happen with what's inside my purse and if my Neverfull is inside out, that means the outside gets damaged and I may never get to flip my Neverfull back out the way it was originally made. Then I'm stuck with an expensive and ridiculously stupid looking inside out purse that even MORE ppl will think is fake because most ppl don't know what the inside of an LV bag looks like!
